Budget 2020-21 fact sheets

On 1 July 2022 we became the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. Before this we were the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment. Budget statements and factsheets were released under the former department. We will publish new budget information when it is available.

The 2020–21 Federal Budget has been delivered in a fiscal and economic environment unlike what we have ever seen before.

The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment continues to play a key role in supporting the recovery of our environment, industries and economy following the impacts of COVID-19 and the Black Summer bushfires.

The funded measures represent a great outcome for the industries, businesses and communities we serve.
