Support for apple growers

Recently, the Australian Government announced a new measure, adding to the government’s comprehensive suite of bushfire support for our primary producers and agricultural industries.

This funding adds to the Government’s commitment of $448.5 million for projects identified by communities as part of their local economic recovery plans.

Access to grants

Grants of $120,000 per hectare will be available to support bushfire-affected apple growers to re-establish and repair damaged or destroyed orchard or perennial trees.

Applicants must provide a co-contribution of up to $120,000 per hectare.

More information on eligibility and accessing the program will be available in the coming weeks.
