Purpose
To advise exporters about the implementation of new export permit templates for all livestock, non-livestock and reproductive material exports from 1 January 2019.
Background / Key points
Export permits are issued by the Department for the export of livestock, non-livestock and reproductive material. Minor changes have been made to existing export permit templates to align with legislative requirements as well as some aesthetic changes. There has been no change to health certificate templates.
The department will not communicate these changes to trading partners because the changes do not affect health certificate templates.
A transition phase will apply, whereby the current export permit templates will be accepted until 31 December 2018, with the new templates in use from 1 January 2019.Instructions
