The National Landcare Conference is held every two years and is partly funded by the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources. It is the peak knowledge sharing forum for the L andcare community and provides an opportunity to shape the direction of landcare into the future.
2016 National Landcare Conference
The 2016 National Landcare Conference was held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 21–23 September 2016. The conference theme was ‘Collaborative Communities – Landcare in Action’and involved workshops and panel discussions across four key areas: climate impact and responses; community engagement; landscape challenges and responses; and collaboration and innovation.
The 2016 National Landcare Awards Gala Dinner on 22 September 2016 provided national recognition of the local people and projects of this important community-based movement and provided a platform to discuss the future of Landcare.

2014 National Landcare Conference
The 2014 National Landcare Conference, held in Melbourne at the Crown Conference Centre on 17–19 September 2014, showcased Landcare and provided recognition of this community-based movement. It facilitated knowledge sharing about sustainable agriculture and innovative land management practices. The theme, ‘celebrating our history, growing our future’ provided recognition of the work of this important community-based movement over the past 25 years while also providing a platform to discuss the next 25 years of Landcare.

2012 National Landcare Conference
The 2012 Conference was held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, over 3-5 September 2012 in conjunction with the biennial National Landcare Awards ceremony.
The conference provided an opportunity for the Landcare community and natural resource management professionals from across Australia to come together and share their experiences and knowledge.
