Australia's State of the Forests Report 1998

Australia's State of the Forests Report 1998 (SOFR 1998) is the first in the series of Australia's State of the Forests Reports. The purpose of this report was to describe for the first time, at the national level, the broad characteristics, location, extent and ownership of Australia's forest, and to provide baseline information indicating the status of these forests and their range of uses. Data and information used in this report predate 1998, unless otherwise stated.
