The Leadership in Agricultural Industries Fund is administered by the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources to support Australian agricultural industry.
The Fund’s objective is to support national agricultural industry organisations to develop leadership capability within agricultural industry representative bodies. It aims to build farm leaders’ skills so they can better represent their agricultural industry.
Applications for this grant funding closed on Wednesday, 17 May 2017. Once the assessment panel finalises the assessment of applications, the Minister for Agriculture and Water Resources will decide successful grant recipients.

Grant agreement
If you are successful with your grant application you will be asked to enter into a Commonwealth grant agreement to deliver your project. A draft agreement is provided for your information. Grant agreements will be developed individually to reflect the details of the project, including milestone reports and payment schedule.

Available funding
The government has committed $5 million to the Fund.
Individual grants are expected to be between $100,000 and $500,000, lesser amounts will be considered.
