Regional Agriculture Landcare Facilitators (RALFs)
Facilitators provide important agricultural services.
We have committed $36 million to this critical service. This will ensure it continues until 2022-23.
Services are available to:
- land managers
- Landcare groups
- farming systems groups.
RALFs help to coordinate and deliver:
- natural resource management activities, such as workshops, farm demonstrations or peer learning sessions
- new communities of practice that support sustainable agriculture
- regional community engagement plans.
They can also help with facilitating ideas and practices, such as:
- building resilience to significant changes in climate
- on‐farm biosecurity
- chemicals management
- innovative practices.
This initiative is part of the Regional Land Partnerships program. It is an important second phase of the $1 billion National Landcare Program.
