Darwin Regional Outlook conference

ABARES held its Darwin Regional Outlook conference on Wednesday 3 July.

We examined the key issues for agriculture at sessions on Investing in primary industries and growing our future; Challenges and opportunities for the NT cattle industry and Growing and diversifying NT agriculture, forestry and fisheries.

ABARES, local and industry speakers discussed a range of issues including the latest commodity data and economic analysis, climate and weather trends, water resource management, farm performance for local producers, plus challenges and opportunities for the Territory’s horticulture and fisheries sectors.
