The Food Systems Summit Stocktaking Moment will be held between 24 - 26 July 2023 at FAO Headquarters in Rome. This high-level meeting will be an opportunity to review progress in achieving healthier, more sustainable and more resilient food systems.

2021-04 - Plant Export Operations – Updated manual inspection and treatment record templates for the commencement of the new export legislation

Purpose

This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to advise that the manual inspection and treatment record templates are being updated in preparation for the commencement of the Export Control Act 2020 (the Act) and its subordinate legislation on 28 March 2021 (commencement).

Who does this notice affect?

All users of the below systems:

  • Agriculture Import Management System (AIMS)
  • Import Management System (IMS)
  • Integrated Cargo System (ICS)
  • Maritime Arrival Reporting System (MARS)
  • S-Cargo
  • Self-Assessed Clearance (SAC)

Information

Due to scheduled system maintenance to DAWE messaging channels, there will be messaging delays between 23:30 Sunday 14 February to 02:30 Monday 15 February 2021 (AEDT). This will impact the following messages:

20-2021: PEBS unavailable from 23:00 Friday 12 February to 00:00 Saturday 13 February 2021 (AEDT)

Who does this notice affect?

All importers of plants, cats and/or dogs who will be required to use the Post Entry Biosecurity System during this planned outage.

Information

Due to system maintenance, the Post Entry Biosecurity System will be unavailable from 23:00 Friday 12 February to 00:00 Saturday 13 February 2021 (AEDT).

Action

Clients are advised to await the completion of this maintenance period before attempting to access this service.

19-2021: Service Disruption: From 16:00 to 23:59 Sunday 14 February 2021 (AEDT) - BICON

Who does this notice affect?

All clients required to use the department’s Biosecurity Import Conditions (BICON) system during this planned maintenance period.

Information

Due to scheduled infrastructure maintenance, BICON users may experience several intermittent outages from 16:00 to 23:59 on Sunday 14 February 2021 (AEDT).

Action

Users are advised to frequently save any in-progress permit applications during this maintenance period.
