2019-14 - Horticulture Exports Program – Changes to irradiation treatment options and requirements for table grapes, capsicums and papayas to New Zealand

Purpose

This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to advise that the New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) have updated the irradiation treatment options and requirements in the Import Health Standards (IHSs) for table grapes, capsicum and papaya.

2016-19 - Horticulture Exports Program - Phytosanitary certificate ‘Place of Origin’ requirements for export of fruit fly host commodities to New Zealand

Purpose

To advise industry of clarified requirements for listing place of origin on Phytosanitary certificates for export of horticulture commodities under the Australia-New Zealand Bilateral Quarantine Arrangement Systems Operation Manual 6E.

Background

When exporting multiple commodities to New Zealand under different treatment Appendices of the BQA SOM 6E, there have been difficulties arising when the different commodity lines originated from various production areas, or were treated in different states/territories of Australia.

2016-16 - Plant Export Operations - Republic of Korea - Special Act on Imported Food Safety Management - New requirement for online registration of food exporters

Purpose

To advise Australian exporters of mandatory pre-registration requirements for foreign food facilities involved in exporting processed food, plant products including grains and horticultural products, food additives and food packages/containers/equipment to the Republic of Korea (Korea).
