Australian biofouling management requirements for non-commercial vessels

The Australian biofouling management requirements for non-commercial vessels (ABFMR-NCV) set out vessel operator obligations for the management of biofouling. These obligations apply when operating non-commercial vessels under biosecurity control within Australian territorial seas, in order to comply with the Biosecurity Act 2015. New proactive biofouling management options for non-commercial vessels will apply from late May 2026.

Approved manufacturers of official marks and marking devices

List current as of 24 July 2025

The following companies are approved manufacturers of official marks and marking devices under the Export Control Rules 2021 (the Rules).

Approved manufacturers are required to comply with a Code of Practice. Official marks, including software, may only be ordered by using the EX92 Application for authorisation to manufacture official marks and marking devices, available from the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.
