Detail:

BICON is currently experiencing an unplanned service disruption.

As a result, clients are not receiving emails from the department via the BICON system.

Action

This issue is being investigated as a priority and the department will advise once resolved.

The department apologises for any inconvenience caused.

Between 13:50 and 16:50 on Tuesday 21 May 2024 (AEST), there was an issue with the department’s IT infrastructure, resulting in some BICON users being unable to use the following BICON services:

All importers of plants, cats and/or dogs who will be required to use the Post Entry Biosecurity System during this planned maintenance period.

Information

Update: The planned maintenance for Tuesday 21 May 2024 has been rescheduled. Scheduled infrastructure maintenance to the Post Entry Biosecurity System (PEBS) will now occur from 23:05 to 23:20 Wednesday 22 May 2024 (AEST).

Action

Clients are advised to await the completion of this maintenance period before attempting to access this service.
