Fertiliser Supply Working Group Meeting – 8 May 2026
The Government/Industry Fertiliser Supply Working Group met for the sixth time on 8 May 2026.
The Working Group received an update on progress on the Fertiliser Security Facility, administered by Export Finance Australia.
Members also noted the usefulness of recent information sessions for fertiliser companies on progress and next steps for this program, including expansion to additional suppliers.
The group discussed the recently announced $10 billion Australian Fuel Security and Resilience package, including the combined $7.5 billion to be directed towards the Fuel and Fertiliser Security Facility.
The Working Group discussed the ongoing work on international sourcing opportunities, being undertaken by both industry and the Australian Government.
