I am seeking (under the Freedom of Information Act) the Department of Environment and Energy’s internal response to the Australian National Audit Office’s report on the awarding of a $443.3 million grant to the Great Barrier Reef Foundation.

Specifically, I am seeking:

1. Communication(s) and/or letter(s) between October 1, 2018 and January 25, 2019 (inclusive of both dates) between the Department and the ANAO regarding the recommendations contained in the report.
2. Communication(s) and/or letter(s) from the Department to the ANAO outlining its response to the recommendations.

By communications, I mean all correspondence, including, but not limited to, letters and/or emails and/or documents and/or text messages and/or encrypted messages (including, but not limited to, WhatsApp messages) via government and/or personal communication channels.

For documents that fall under the scope of this request, I am seeking the release of full documents (i.e. I ask that no s 22 irrelevant material exemptions be applied).

I advise I am not interested in duplicate copies of documents and/or or documents that have already been publicly released and/or media releases and/or media articles and/or media statements and/or talking points.
