Disclosure log

We publish a list of documents we have released in response to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests as required by the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act). We publish these documents within 10 business days of release to the FOI applicant.

All information included in this log is available for public access.

Check this log before you make a new FOI request.

We also help portfolio Ministers to comply with disclosure obligations. Our disclosure log provides details in relation to any documents released by the office of a portfolio Minister.

  • information about the business, commercial, financial or professional affairs of any person
  • other information covered by a determination made by the Australian Information Commissioner

Request documents

Some documents in the list of previous FOI requests may not be available for download.

Contact us to access any of these documents. Make sure to include the FOI reference number in your request.

We may charge you for the cost of copying the information or sending it to you. We won't charge you for our time to process the original FOI request.

We will notify you of any applicable charges. You must pay any charges before we provide the documents.

I am writing to request a copy of the Pre-feasibility study on the West-East Gas Pipeline (conducted by ACIL Allen, in conjunction with GHD) to investigate the construction of a gas pipeline to link Western Australia to the east coast gas market.

The Department of the Environment and Energy announced the successful tenderer for the study in October 2017 and the study was due for completion in March 2018. My understanding is that the study was completed and provided to the then Minister for the Environment and Energy, Hon Josh Frydenberg, in March 2018.
