Speaker One:
It’s great to be here at the Science to Practice forum again going around the country, talking to stakeholders, talking about collaboration, and talking about programmes that have been rolled out through the funding project.
Speaker Two:
Project topics include redesigning grazing, what to plant, where and when. And at a regional scale; technologies and tools to support water allocation, water quality and what to take, where and when.
Speaker Three:
You hear all about that drought resilience lens and ensuring that we are ready to adapt and change and prepare for the next drought coming.
Speaker Four:
I think the most important thing is bringing together a group of industry researchers and growers, not only to work within rural and regional communities, but also work together and come together to collaborate.
Speaker Five:
I think that what has stood out for me has been the diversity of research and diversity of the projects that are happening around the country. There’s a common thread of collaboration and there is a real willingness to address this thing that we call drought in Australia and make sure that we, as communities, are better prepared for drought when it hits next.
