Australian Food Statistics 2002 is designed to meet the information needs of the food industry, policy makers and researchers in analysing and capturing the many opportunities currently presented to the industry. It provides data on all levels of food processing from raw agricultural product to highly processed food. The Department has received valuable feedback from the first two editions of 'Australian Food Statistics (published in 2000 and 2001) which have helped us in updating and improving this edition.
