Purpose
This Market Access Advice (MAA) is to inform industry of certificate updates for exports of milk and milk products exported to the European Union (EU).
Exporters will be unable to submit a Request for Export (REX) through the Next Export Documentation (NEXDOC) system between 5pm AEDT on Wednesday 29 October until 9am AEDT Thursday 30 October 2025 while the updates occur.
Summary of key points
The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry is updating health certificates for the export of milk and milk products to the EU.
The updates are to align certification with amended EU model export health certificates published by the European Commission.
Exporters will be unable to raise a REX between 5pm AEDT on Wednesday 29 October until 9am AEDT Thursday 30 October 2025.
The changes will impact certificate template EUEXH1.
The changes are editorial only (updates to regulation references and minor wording changes) and do not change the process exporters need to obtain health certification from the department through NEXDOC.
