Purpose
- This Market Access Advice (MAA) is to notify exporters of new listing requirements being implemented by Türkiye for export-registered manufacturers of milk and milk products for human consumption.
Key points
- The Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has advised the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (the department) that from 1 January 2026 exports of milk and milk products to Türkiye will only be permitted from export-registered establishments included on Türkiye’s approved establishment list.
- Please note, this new listing requirement is in addition to initial export registration with the department.
- Exporters requiring listing with Türkiye should contact the department at dairyeggsfish@aff.gov.au.
- The department encourages all exporters to work with their importers to ensure products meet current importing country requirements.
Micor
The Manual of Importing Country Requirements (Micor) will be updated to reflect this MAA. The department encourages users of Micor to subscribe to the Micor update service for a commodity-specific email that lists changes that have been made the preceding week.
