Date of issue: 9 July 2026

Date of effect: 16 July 2026

Attention: All Stakeholders

Dear industry stakeholders,

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry advises that the Manual of Importing Country Requirements (Micor) platform will be migrated to the new platform on Thursday, 16 July 2026.

What you need to know

  • The current Micor platform will not be available between 8 pm AEST Thursday, 16 July 2026 and 6 am AEST Friday, 17 July 2026.
  • The new Micor platform will be available from 6 am AEST on Friday, 17 July 2026.
  • You will not be able to access Micor during the outage period.

What will remain the same?

  • The Micor website address will remain unchanged: https://micor.agriculture.gov.au
  • The new Micor platform will retain all existing content relied upon by users.
  • The overall look and feel, navigation and structure will remain similar.
  • Existing Micor newsletter subscriptions will continue, and users will not need to re-subscribe.
  • Any bookmarks to commodity landing pages will be redirected to the new platform.
  • Users who access publicly available content without a username and password can continue to do so as usual and do not need to create an account or set up Two-Factor Authentication (TFA).

What is changing?

  • Most users will notice only minor interface changes when using the new platform.
  • Introduction of Two-Factor Authentication (TFA) for users who access password-protected content.
  • Bookmarks to individual country or case pages will need to be re-created.

Action required by all Micor users after go-live

Users who have saved bookmarks to specific country or case pages will need to recreate them after go-live, as specific country or case page website addresses will change in the new platform.

Action required by users who access password-protected content

Following go-live, users who currently access password-protected content will need to:

  1. reset their password
  2. set up Two-Factor Authentication (TFA)
  3. use TFA when accessing password-protected content on the new platform
