Purpose
This Market Access Advice (MAA) is to notify stakeholders of the requirements for completing export health certificates for fish and fish products to Great Britain. The affected templates are FGBA and FGBB.
Summary of key points
Total Gross Weight
From 31 August 2025, total gross weight will be mandatory when raising a REX for fish and fish products exported to Great Britain
When raising a REX, exporters must enter the gross weight in the Gross metric weight amount and Gross metric weight unit field against each product line.
Micor
The department encourages users of Micor to subscribe to the Micor update service for a commodity-specific email that lists changes that have been made the preceding week.
