Purpose

Further to the latest Market Access Advice (MAA) on this matter (MAA2021-53 (Dairy), MAA2021-31 (Seafood), MAA2021-23 (NPG)), the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment is providing advice to food processing and storage facilities handling product for export to China on how to access their Chinese issued registration number issued by the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC).

GACC issued Registration number

The department has become aware that GACC has now begun issuing registration numbers for Article 7 products. GACC registration numbers for both Article 7 and Article 9 products are being listed online: https://ciferquery.singlewindow.cn/.

PLEASE NOTE: The department is aware that GACC are currently entering the registration numbers onto the site and the data entry is ongoing and is not complete as yet.

If your establishment is not currently listed on the site, please allow some time for GACC to continue entering details and check again in the following days.

The department will continue to monitor the website over the coming days as more registration numbers are entered onto the site.

The department will aim to provide further advice on Wednesday 28 December 2021 if all registration numbers for registered facilities have not been uploaded by this time.

Navigating the ‘cifer query’ website

In order to search for registration number(s), you can do this via your Australian establishment number used to register in the system by entering it into the ‘Overseas Reg. No. field, shown here:

You can also search for all Australian establishments by searching for ‘AUS’ or ‘601’ in the Country (Region) field shown here:

Once you have selected ‘601’ as shown above you will need to click the search button, shown here:
