2011-61 - Grain and Seed Export Program Fees and Charges

Industry Advice Notice (IAN) 2011/51 of 23 September 2011 explained the rationale for proposed fees and charges for grain, seeds, nuts, fodder and timber exports underpinning the new service delivery model.

The following legislative instruments amending the current fees and charges structure have recently been certified.

  • Export Inspection (Establishment Registration Charges) Amendment Regulations 2011 (No. 2)
  • Export Inspection (Quantity Charge) Amendment Regulations 2011 (No. 1)
  • Export Inspection and Meat Charges Collection Amendment Regulations 2011 (No. 2)
  • Export Control (Fees) Amendment Orders 2011 (No. 2)

The amended fees and charges reflect the complex phytosanitary certification environment and the level of work required to underpin Australian export inspection and certification standards and align with the new grain exports service delivery model.

Below is a table of the fees and charges structure that will apply from 1 January 2012.
