Purpose
This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to advise industry stakeholders that they can now subscribe to receive the Regional Assurance Manager (RAM) network newsletter via email.
Summary of changes and key points
- Industry stakeholders can now subscribe to receive the RAM network newsletter via email through the department’s subscription centre.
- The purpose of the RAM network newsletter is to provide a quarterly update on the work being undertaken by the RAMs to support to third party authorised officers (AO)s and their employers.
- The newsletter will continue to be delivered to third party AOs directly via email.
Background
RAMs work as part of a regionally based team to provide support to third party AOs and their employers (their clients).
RAMs are responsible for establishing and maintaining effective and productive relationships with their clients and working with them to ensure that plant export legislation, policies and importing country requirements are understood and adhered to.
