Purpose
This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to notify all Plant Exports Management System (PEMS) users, including plant export clients, exporters and authorised officers, of an outage to the PEMS system due to a production upgrade directly to the PEMS system.
Summary of changes and key points
- PEMS will be unavailable during:
- Saturday 17 August 2024 – 11.00pm to Sunday 18 August 2024 – 01.00am (AEST)
- During the system outage windows, users will be unable to initiate or submit an inspection record in PEMS.
- Further information on system enhancements can be found in the ‘What’ New, What’s Different: Quick Reference Guide’.
Exporter responsibilities
Familiarise yourself with the timing of the expected system outages and impacts.
Authorised officer responsibilities
- Familiarise yourself with the timing of the expected system outages and impacts.
- Inspection results will need to be recorded prior to or after the outages.
