Purpose
This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to notify all Export Documentation system (EXDOC) and Plant Exports Management System (PEMS) users, including plant export clients, exporters and authorised officers, of a disruption to export systems due to a departmental maintenance outage.
Summary of changes and key points
- EXDOC will be undergoing scheduled maintenance and PEMS will be disrupted from:
- 11:59pm Saturday 15 February 2025 – 05:00am Sunday 16 February 2025 (AEDT)
- During the system outage window, users will still be able to work in PEMS but some request services, such as ‘Refresh from EXDOC’, may queue until the outage has completed.
Exporter responsibilities
Familiarise yourself with the timing of the expected system disruption and its impacts.
NOTE: We recommend having export documentation completed by 11:59pm, 15 February 2025, if possible.
Authorised officer responsibilities
- Familiarise yourself with the timing of the service disruption and its impacts.
- Inspection results may need to be recorded prior to or after the system outage.
