2026-44: Plant Exports – New Micor platform now live

17 July 2026

Purpose

This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to advise plant export stakeholders that the new Manual of Importing Country Requirements (Micor) platform is now live.

Summary of changes and key points

  • The Micor platform has been migrated to a new, modernised GovCMS Micor platform.
  • The Micor website address remains unchanged.
  • Help resources, including user guides and instructional videos are available on the Micor Help page.
  • Existing Micor content, including plant export requirements and information remains available on the new platform.
  • Users who access password-protected Micor content are required to reset their password and set up Two-Factor Authentication (TFA) when logging in for the first time.
  • Users who previously bookmarked specific country or case pages will need to recreate these bookmarks, as page addresses (URLs) have changed following the migration.

Background

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry has migrated Micor to a new GovCMS platform as part of ongoing efforts to improve the reliability, security and user experience of the service.

The migration delivers a modernised platform while maintaining the existing content, navigation structure and website address relied on by exporters, authorised officers and other stakeholders. Most users will experience only minor changes to the user interface when accessing the new platform.

Industry responsibilities

  • Recreate any saved bookmarks to specific country or case pages
  • Share this information with relevant personnel within their organisation.
  • Reset Micor password following go-live if users access password protected content.
  • Set up Two-Factor Authentication (TFA).
  • Use TFA when accessing password-protected content on the new platform.
