Who does this notice affect?
This notice affects all industry members involved in imports and exports whose inspection appointments may be affected by the current service disruption with the National Appointment System (NAS).
The department is currently experiencing an unplanned service disruption causing delays with processing inspection appointments.
If your scheduled inspection appointment with the department has been impacted, please contact us on 1800 900 090 or resend your inspection appointment request to the relevant import booking email queue.
The cause of the issue has been identified and the department’s Information Services Division is currently working on a resolution. Updated advice to industry members will be provided as soon as possible.
Clients anticipating confirmation of their bookings should expect delays during this transition period.
