241-2021: Entry coversheet for seed for planting consignments now available for use

3 December 2021

Who does this notice affect?

This notice is of interest to clients in the import industry for seeds for planting, including importers, customs brokers, freight forwarders and overseas suppliers.

What has changed?

The purpose of this notification is to advise stakeholders that the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (the department) has published an entry coversheet that may be used for seed for planting consignments.

Industry stakeholders are encouraged to submit the coversheet to accompany other consignment documentations. The coversheet will assist to consolidate all key information and required documentations related to the seeds for import.

The coversheet and instructions are now available on the department's website.

What is the benefit of using the coversheet?
