Who does this notice affect?
All clients who use the department’s Biosecurity Import Conditions System (BICON).
What has changed?
The BICON website will be updated with a new look and feel in April. The changes are aimed at improving your experience when using BICON.
The changes include:
- a more modern look and feel to provide a seamless user experience between biosecurity digital services
- a mobile website to improve usability on mobile phones and tablets
- better accessibility for vision impaired users and those using screen-readers
- increased workflow clarity when applying for import permits.
Action
The functionality of the BICON website won’t be changing and you will still be able to review import conditions and apply for import permits as you normally would. There will also be no changes to how you access your BICON account.
