Who does this notice affect?
Stakeholders in the import and shipping industries—including vessel masters, freight forwarders, offshore treatment providers, Biosecurity Industry Participants, importers, customs brokers, principal agents and master consolidators.
What has changed?
Following the identification of biosecurity concerns, we have listed Acquarius Fumigation Pte Ltd (AEI: SG0010TP) and Inavab Biotech Pte Ltd (AEI: SG0011TP) as unacceptable on the List of unregistered providers.
Treatment certificates will not be accepted from Acquarius Fumigation Pte Ltd (AEI: SG0010TP) and Inavab Biotech Pte Ltd (AEI: SG0011TP) as of the date they are listed as ‘unacceptable’, including certification issued both before and after the change in their status.
The ‘unacceptable’ date is published on the summary of recent changes in the ‘change date’ column on the List of unregistered providers.
We may direct any consignments treated by Acquarius Fumigation Pte Ltd (AEI: SG0010TP) and Inavab Biotech Pte Ltd (AEI: SG0011TP) including those in transit, for any action considered reasonable to manage the biosecurity risk posed. Consignments are classified as in transit when they have left the country of origin but have not yet been cleared through the border in Australia.
Consignments (including those in transit) will be managed on arrival in Australia and information on how the consignments will be managed can be found in Biosecurity Import Conditions system (BICON).
