Who does this notice affect?
All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment during this planned maintenance period (e.g. clients required to use the Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS) and Cargo Online Lodgement System Business to Government (COLSB2G)).
All clients required to use the Next Export Documentation (NEXDOC) system during this planned maintenance period.

Update: The date and times for the system release and associated service disruption window have since changed. Please see below for details.
To support a system release, there will be a scheduled service disruption (service degradation) to the following departmental systems between 23:00 to 23:59 Thursday 10 July 2025 (AEST):
- COLS
- COLSB2G
- NEXDOC
Action
Users of the above-listed systems are advised to await the completion of this planned maintenance period before attempting to access these services.
