Who does this notice affect?
All clients required to use the department’s Biosecurity Import Conditions System (BICON) website to submit and/or pay for import permit applications.
Information
Between Tuesday 05 August and Tuesday 19 August 2025, clients may have experienced intermittent issues when attempting to submit applications or pay for invoices.
Resolved time:
As of: 12:00 Wednesday 20 August 2025 (AEST).
The unplanned service disruption to the BICON website (payments and application submission) has now been resolved. Regular clients can now make payments for and submit import permit applications as normal.
First time clients or irregular clients that experienced issues submitting applications or paying between Tuesday 05 August and Tuesday 19 August 2025 are having their accounts fixed by our staff.
