Who does this notice affect?
All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment during this planned maintenance period.
All shipping agents or operators of maritime conveyances who will be required to report pre-arrival information during this planned maintenance period.
All importers of plants, cats and/or dogs who will be required to use the Post Entry Biosecurity System during this planned maintenance period.
All clients who will be required to make an online payment during this planned outage.

Detail:
The following systems are currently experiencing an unplanned outage:
- Maritime and Aircraft Reporting System (MARS)
- Online Payment Service (OPS)
The following systems are available, however their financial capabilities (e.g. ability for clients to make payments via these systems) are impacted:
- Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS)
- Post Entry Biosecurity System (PEBS)
Action
Users are advised to avoid using the above-listed systems or attempting to make payments via these systems until services have been restored. This issue is being investigated as a high priority and the department will advise once services have been restored.
