Who does this notice affect?
All Self-Assessed Clearance (SAC) clients/brokers/reporters who currently lodge SAC documentation via email.
What has changed?
The department has implemented a direct system-to-system document lodgement capability for all Self-Assessed Clearance (SAC) clients, brokers and reporters. This enables seamless integration with the Document Lodgement Service (DLS) Application Programming Interface (API), enhancing both data exchange efficiency and security. The solution eliminates the need for manual document submission via email, streamlining the lodgement process. By integrating with DLS API, clients can be notified when documents are required, lodge documents for SAC assessment, review lodged documents and view the status of their lodgement.
Clients currently providing documents via the SAC mailbox can continue to do so. SAC-Paperless will continue to function in parallel with DLS until clients have fully transitioned to DLS. SAC-Paperless will eventually be phased out and replaced by DLS.
