137-2026: AAMP now available on the TradeClear portal

4 August 2026

Who does this notice affect?

Biosecurity Industry Participants (BIPs) and their staff operating under a biosecurity Approved Arrangement (AA) who use the Approved Arrangement Management Product (AAMP).

What has changed?

AAMP is now available on the TradeClear portal

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) advises that AAMP has now transitioned from the Biosecurity Portal onto the TradeClear portal.

The TradeClear portal provides:

  • A single access point for export and biosecurity import application and services
  • Single sign-on across applications
  • Simplified navigation an improved efficiency
  • Enhanced account security, including Multi Factor Authentication (MFA)

Users will be able to manage their accounts in one place, including:

  • Account access
  • Roles and responsibilities
  • Certifications and accreditations

What this means for AAMP users

AAMP can now be accessed through the TradeClear portal. AAMP itself has not changed, but the landing page and the sign-in details look different.

What this means for other biosecurity import applications and services

DAFF is working to progressively move all biosecurity and import applications and services from the Biosecurity Portal and other external portals to the TradeClear portal over time. As planning develops, further advice will be circulated to confirm which applications and/or services will transition next.

What you need to do

No action is required for AAMP users. Now launched, existing AAMP links will automatically redirect to the TradeClear portal. In addition, for a limited time after the transition, users will still be able to access AAMP through the Biosecurity Portal. The new TradeClear portal will also enable existing users of Biosecurity Portal services to set up an authenticator app for MFA. For new users, this will be the default authentication method.

Next steps

Services will continue to be migrated to and further developed for TradeClear following its launch. Additional updates will be provided as functionality expands.

Ultimately, this initiative will reduce complexity and support faster, more efficient engagement with DAFF services.
