The Biosecurity Act 2015 commences on 16 June 2016, replacing the Quarantine Act 1908. There is now additional information available on what is changing for industry.
The Australian Government, through the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources, has developed information to help industry prepare for the commencement of the Biosecurity Act 2015 in less than one month, on 16 June 2016.
