Purpose
To advise that the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources, Authorised Officer Program (AOP), will cease opportunities for training and assessment with Plant Export Assessors from Monday 21st December 2015 until Friday 15th January 2016 inclusive.
Background
Plant Export Assessors (assessors) provide authorised officer candidates with training and competency assessment opportunities throughout the year. The very high demand for authorised officer training and competency assessments this year has meant that all assessors have travelled extensively, often with extended periods away from family and friends with limited opportunity to take leave and recharge.
Summary of key points
- The AOP will not be offering training and competency assessment opportunities from Monday 21st December 2015 until Friday 15th January 2016 inclusive.
- Authorised officer candidates can continue to submit training and assessment requests to the AOP during this period via the Plant Export Training inbox.
- The AOP will continue to schedule authorised officer candidates into training and assessment opportunities outside these dates.
