Purpose
To advise that the charging of the Plant Export Operations Additional Inspection fee for all job functions will commence on 1 July 2016.
Summary of changes and key points
The Additional Inspection fee applies where there is an approved job function that could be undertaken by an approved industry authorised officer but instead a departmental officer is requested to provide the service. The additional inspection fee is $75.00 per 15 minutes (or part thereof).
The implementation date for charging of the additional inspection fee for non-protocol job functions has been delayed to 1 July 2016. This means that the commencement date for charging of the additional inspection fee for all job functions (protocol and non-protocol) is 1 July 2016.
The original implementation dates for the additional inspection fee were as follows:
- protocol job functions from 1 July 2016
- all other job functions from 1 March 2016
