189-2019 - Unplanned Service Disruption: From 18:00 to 22:40 Tuesday 12 November 2019 (AEDT) – PEBS and COLS messaging

Who does this notice affect?

All Department of Agriculture clients receiving email messages from the following applications:

  • The Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS)
  • The Post Entry Biosecurity System (PEBS)


An issue in the department’s I.T. infrastructure caused client messaging from the following applications to fail for approximately 4 hours yesterday evening:

  • Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS)
  • Post Entry Biosecurity System (PEBS)

This service disruption has since been resolved and the above applications are sending client messages as normal.


No action required. Manual emails will be progressively sent to clients who did not receive system generated emails as a result of this service disruption.
