193-2019 - Service Disruption: As of 10:45 Friday 15 November 2019 (AEDT) – Department of Agriculture emails

Who does this notice affect?

All Department of Agriculture clients receiving email messages from the department, including departmental I.T. systems.


There is currently an unplanned outage affecting the department’s emailing system. This is preventing emails from being sent or received. This issue is also affecting messaging sent from the following applications:

  • The Biosecurity Import Conditions (BICON) system
  • The Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS)
  • The Post Entry Biosecurity System (PEBS)

As a result, clients may not receive confirmation emails and other associated messaging when submitting or progressing lodgements, applications and bookings within these applications.

The department apologises for any inconvenience and is addressing the issue as a high priority.


No action required. The department will advise when this outage has been resolved.
