Purpose

This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to advise exporters of planned outages for the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (the department) Next Export Documentation (NEXDOC) system.

To notify Next Export Documentation (NEXDOC) system users that NEXDOC will be impacted due to planned departmental maintenance.

2024-23: Horticulture Exports Program – Applications for the export of bananas, capsicum, papaya and sweetcorn to New Zealand

Purpose

This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to advise industry that applications are now open for the accreditation of farms and packhouses for the export of bananas, capsicum, papaya and sweetcorn under the New Zealand Export Plan (Export Plan).

Applications are now open for the accreditation of farms and packhouses intending to export fresh bananas, capsicum, papaya and sweetcorn to New Zealand.

Who does this notice affect?

Stakeholders in the import and shipping industries—including Master Consolidators, vessel masters, freight forwarders, treatment providers, Biosecurity Industry Participants, importers, customs brokers and principal agents— associated with shipping or importing goods that require increased intervention during the 2023-24 BMSB risk season.

What has changed?

On 1 May 2024, the 2023-24 BMSB risk season ended.

80-2024: Scheduled Outage: Saturday 04 May to Sunday 05 May 2024 – DAFF applications

Who does this notice affect?

All clients required to use Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry web-based applications during this planned maintenance period.

Information

The department will be conducting scheduled infrastructure maintenance from 23:00 Saturday 04 May to 03:00 Sunday 05 May 2024 (AEST).

During this time, all DAFF applications may experience four, 5-minute outages. These applications include, but are not limited to:
