Who does this notice affect?

All importers of plants, cats and/or dogs who will be required to use the Post Entry Biosecurity System during this planned maintenance period.

Information

Due to infrastructure maintenance, the Post Entry Biosecurity System (PEBS) will be unavailable from 23:00 to 23:59 Monday 29 April 2024 (AEST).

Action

Clients are advised to await the completion of this maintenance period before attempting to access this service.

73-2024: Consultation for revised class conditions for import approved arrangement class 1.1 Sea and Air Freight Depot (unrestricted) and class 1.3 Sea and Air Freight Depot (restricted)

Stakeholders associated with the biosecurity clearance of goods imported into Australia and which are subject to biosecurity intervention at an approved arrangement site. Primarily Class 1.1 and 1.3 approved arrangement managers and accredited persons.

72-2024: Scheduled Service Disruption: Sunday 28 April 2024 – BICON

Who does this notice affect?

All clients required to use the department’s Biosecurity Import Conditions System (BICON) during this planned maintenance period.

Information

Due to scheduled infrastructure maintenance, BICON users may experience several intermittent outages from 16:00 to 23:59 Sunday 28 April 2024 (AEST).

Action

Users are advised to frequently save any in-progress permit applications during this planned maintenance period.

This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to advise exporters of planned outages for the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (the department) Next Export Documentation (NEXDOC) system.

Summary of changes and key points

The department has planned NEXDOC maintenance.

To ensure there is no disruption to your consignments, please do not lodge requests for exports (REXs) during 9.00 pm to 11.59 pm (AEST) Monday 29 April 2024.
