Purpose
This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to advise industry that exports of fresh cucurbit species produced in Queensland are temporarily suspended to New Zealand, following a positive detection of Cucumber Green Mottle Mosaic Virus (CGMMV) from Queensland’s CGMMV Pest Free Area.

What has changed?
This is a reminder that from 1 May 2020, the department will no longer be providing offshore pre-shipment inspections (OPI) for horticultural fresh produce exports from New Zealand and the United States.
