All clients required to use the department’s Biosecurity Import Conditions (BICON) system during this planned maintenance period.

Information

Due to scheduled infrastructure maintenance, BICON users may experience several intermittent outages from 20:00 to 23:59 on Sunday 22 December 2019 (AEDT).

Action

Users are advised to frequently save any in-progress permit applications during this maintenance period.

What has changed?

This is a reminder that from 1 May 2020, the department will no longer be providing offshore pre-shipment inspections (OPI) for horticultural fresh produce exports from New Zealand and the United States.
