To advise Authorised Officers that the Plant Export Operations Authorised Officer Audit and Performance Standards document has been revised. This version of the policy will be effective from 1 December 2016.

To advise exporters that Korea has removed the requirement for mandatory pre-clearance inspection for exports of mangoes.
Under previous protocol requirements, all VHT treatments and phytosanitary inspections were jointly conducted with a department Authorised Officer (AO) and a National Plant Quarantine Service (NPQS) officer. Industry were required to request a pre-clearance inspector prior to exports commencing.

To advise industry of the process for returning old stock of tamper-indicative seals and bolt seals to the department by 2 December 2016. Old seals can be returned after implementation of seals with the new design on 20 November 2016.
