A woolly good event happened in Adelaide between 7-9 August – LambEx 2024.
LambEx is Australia's premier sheep, lamb and wool expo showcased our high-quality Australian sheep industry to domestic and international markets.
LambEx brought together farmers, processors, exporters, agribusinesses, and agritech companies, helping industry to grow and be competitive, innovative, and sustainable into the future.
The event promotes innovation, technology, sustainability, education, and training, giving producers opportunities to participate in trials, and to learn and adopt new on-farm practices.
The new Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, the Hon Julie Collins MP, visited the event and confirmed the Australian Government is committed to supporting the sheep industry to continue to thrive.
“Given the high attendance from sheep, lamb and wool industry representatives at LambEx, I know optimism for the future of the sheep and wool industries is widespread.
I look forward to engaging further with sector leaders and farmers, and working together to ensure Australia remains renowned for its high-quality produce,” said Minister Collins.
Australian Government proudly supported LambEx 2024 with $1 million from the Support Regional Trade Events program, showing commitment to a better future for our regions and supporting industry.
We were joined on our Australian Government stand by the RIC (Regional Investment Corporation) and Rural Business Support who shared the way they provide financial support to farmers and agribusinesses through low interest loans and free financial counselling services.
