Overview
This project aims to establish standardised workflows for using HTS in infectious agent discovery. It will support relevant national diagnostic HTS operating guidelines and improve overall quality assurance. This allows for high confidence when interpreting HTS results.

Objective alignment:
- 2 – Improve Australia’s surveillance and diagnostic capacity for animal pests and diseases.
Activity alignment:
- 2.1 – Implement actions under National Animal Health Surveillance Business Plan and National Animal Health Diagnostic Business Plan.
- 2.2 – Develop and implement novel technologies, such as point-of-care animal testing and genomics, to address gaps in diagnostic capacity.
