The Animalplan Steering Committee oversees the implementation of Animalplan 2022 to 2027 (Animalplan). The Committee’s members represent government, industry and non-government organisations. The committee meets quarterly, and works with government, non-government and industry stakeholders to progress projects that sit under Animalplan and strengthen our national animal health system.
The Committee’s role is to:
- prioritise industry and government animal health initiatives
- help refine and endorse project proposals
- support project leads to identify funding opportunities and ensure projects align with industry and government strategic priorities
- monitor and report on project progress and make recommendations.
You can work with the Animalplan Secretariat to submit your project to the Committee for consideration and endorsement.

The Animalplan Communiqué provides updates on the activities of the Committee and projects aligned under Animalplan. It is developed after each quarterly meeting.
