Purpose
To notify exporters of dairy products that the implementation of dairy NEXDOC has been delayed.
Key points
The department has decided to delay the implementation of NEXDOC dairy. Further notice will be provided on the implementation date which is expected to be in November 2019.
It is important that dairy exporters continue to register for NEXDOC. Please ensure that you complete your registration through the online services portal. Additional information for registering in NEXDOC is available on the department’s website.
Whilst the department will run EXDOC in parallel during the transition to NEXDOC, you will not be able to raise a dairy export permit through EXDOC post NEXDOC implementation date. EXDOC will only be used to amend or print certificates for those permits raised prior to commencement of NEXDOC.

Software users
The department continues to work with software providers, and have advised them of the changes to key dates.
It is important that you also work closely with your software provider to ensure that your system needs are met, and you are well positioned to commence using NEXDOC in November 2019.
